Heading - Employment
At times, SMECC will partner with contractors or organisations who need workers for special projects. EG: Harvest work, Solar Farms, Training courses.
We may ask for expressions of interest for these jobs, and then refer resumes to the job provider. Once a referral is sent to a potential employer, applicants must contact the employer directly thereafter. SMECC cannot guarantee that applicants will be successful, as this is determined by the individual employer.
SMECC does not support “cash” work and will only work with individuals who are willing to provide tax file numbers and comply with Australian Tax Office and Centrelink.
If you are looking for work, please forward your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will notify you if any opportunities arise.
SMECC have partnered with Second Bite to redistribute food to Refugees and Asylum Seekers. Food assistance is available to SMECC clients upon request on a needs basis.
Please note: SMECC cannot provide cash donations.
