SMECC Cross-Cultural Training Programs
Starting in June 2017, SMECC has been offering fee-for-service cross-cultural training programs for people from different services, groups or business.
SMECC has over 35 years of experience working locally in Sunraysia to support and engage Culturally & Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and we want to share some of our knowledge and skills to support our local community.
This training service is aimed at supporting our local community to develop the knowledge and skills to effectively support and engage people from non-English speaking backgrounds.
This can be of great benefit to improving business, and providing better local services to support our broader community.
Our first course to be offered will be: "Introduction to Cultural Competency & Cross-Cultural Communication". This will cover:
In the near future SMECC hopes to expand the range of courses and supports it can offer to local business and services through this program.
For more information or to book in a training program for your service, group or business please contact SMECC Training Lead Danielle Hren on: firstname.lastname@example.org or 0490 073 371.
