Our Local CALD Communities
You may be surprised to find out just how multicultural the Mildura Region is. According to the 2011 census 16% of people in the Mildura region were born overseas. The graph below shows this information in more detail.
Also from the 2011 census data, to get a real sense of the overall CALD community size in the region we should also at least consider families descended from immigrants. This information shows at a large 29% of our total population had one or more parent born overseas.
